There is Hope: a Manifesto - by Micah J. Daby

My friends,

Today a new era lies before us- one filled with economic uncertainty, unprecedented levels of energy consumption and depletion, and the looming threat of a modern “cold war” nuclear arms race.  With such impending doom in view, we must ask ourselves if we are prepared to take on the new challenges that we most certainly will face.  In the wake of destruction that is left by the geo-culture of corporate fascism and the military machine, there is but one word that describes the actions we must take to survive as the human race: change.

Yes indeed, we must come together, set aside our differences, and bond in unity if we are to thrive in the uncertain and perilous days ahead.  And to make this change a reality we must find a leader- a fearless, intellectual beacon of hope for the free world.  And what man, you may say, has such paramount and sought after qualifications?  I propose, nay, I declare there is but one man for the job, and this is he:

With that in mind I welcome you all to the new and official Julia Marie Band Blog!  In the coming months this will be the page to find out all about us.  You will have the opportunity to witness the insanity of road life, studio life, and crashing-at-our-friend’s-houses life.  You may witness politically charged free style rapping, the wrathful attacks of the loathsome seatbelt-mosquitoes (a whole other entry for another day), and of course, lots of silly jokes and singing (which will no doubt be accompanied by lots of videos and pictures).  The whole point is that we want to keep you informed on how things are going.  You people are the reason we do what we do, and for that we are all extremely grateful.  With that in mind, here are a few photos from our last adventure in the fine city of Rochester, New York.

~Micah
