Well, after nearly a month of interstate travel we’ve finally arrived back home, and though it may be a bit colder here than it was in North Carolina, we really can’t complain. Over the last few weeks we’ve seen some new places and people, visited some old friends, hit up some sweet music venues, and in general, had a great time.
In case you’re interested, I deftly illustrated the general course of travel we chose for our trip:
Please note my stellar workmanship with the “line tool.” Also note how I used “distance from home,” as my unit of measurement. A place like New Jersey rates as being “kind of far away, but not too bad,” while Williamsburg, Virginia rates as a ” far away, but still worth seeing.” And of course, there’s North Carolina way down there at the bottom with a mildly boring but still informative “far from home.” It is also worth noting that this map labels the “Outer Banks of North Carolina.” Why is that so important? I haven’t the slightest clue, but the person that created the map apparently found it to be of use. I suppose you can’t be too picky with the images to get from Google image search.
In any event, that’s all I’ve got for now, but a lot is going on with the band so stick around.

I came here fully prepared to make a comment ranting about how, now that I’m gone, you guys never EVER post. But alas, I was met with this freshly creative and informative post.
Too bad. I was looking forward to the ranting.
You know Ben… I was about to do the SAME thing! Strange how things work?
Well anyway, it’s exciting to see you guys taking off like this! And Micah, I love the whole “far from home”, it was one of the first things I noticed… you rock man!
